School Uniform

The School dress code is kept as simple and inexpensive as possible and all pupils will be expected to present themselves in a neat and tidy fashion.

Sweatshirts:  Standard School navy blue (green for Prefects), hooded sweatshirt for PE, fleeces for outdoor use. 

Polo shirts: Navy blue polo shirts in autumn and spring terms, white polo shirts in summer Term.

Skirts: Grey skirts to be as close to knee length as possible. 

Trousers:  Grey cloth (The School is not specific as to design of grey colour trousers but insist on completely grey garment made of cloth no jeans or tracksuit.)

Shoes (not boots): If you prefer your child to wear a trainer, this trainer must be completely black with no stripes, reflector or logo or other distracting accessory.

Tights/socks:  black or grey

Hair accessories and belts:  Hair may be secured by accessories of any chosen colour and belts of any colour can be worn at your discretion.  We reserve the right to ban items with studs or dangerous protrusions.


The Moat School sweatshirt, polo-shirt, PE Kit and other selected items are available from the uniform suppliers, Sogan’s, in Greyhound Road, Fulham.  Correct PE kit is a requirement for all PE sessions and fixtures.

No make up should be worn whilst in uniform

All pupils

  • In winter, pupils should wear a dark blue or black coat (anorak style is considered the most suitable)
  • A large school bag is required, and an appropriate bag for PE kit
  • All items must be named
